Since I have experienced a few people being unable to find out anything on their own, here's an example of how to find help to a problem concerning Lands of Lore 3.

If you need something, doubleclick on a folder which seems as an authors name then doubleclick on file which seems interesting to you, your browser then starts downloading. If it's html it'll appear in your browser [the documents are converted from doc format to htm by MS Word97 so there's a slight chance it won't work with all versions of Netscape], else you'll be asked to choose a destination folder for the download.
