Well I doubt it will help....but I'm using a Pentium 2 400mhz w/128megs of RAM, 2 10 gig IBM drives, 36x Acer CD-ROM, Canopus Spectra 2500, and I also have a 12mb Voodoo2 card but I don't use it for LOL3.
I'm using the latest "Canopus released" detanator drivers from their website...here's the URL:
http://www.canopuscorp.com/spectra2500/spc2500_rel10_drivers.htm
I should also note that I've had relatively few problems with the game, none relatd to the graphics....just a few random crashes....

Hi Schulz,
I've tried four different Riva TNT and LOL3 and failed to configure
successfully in any 3D mode. I ended up getting stuck with 256 colors at
640x480 resolution.
I had to buy a voodoo2 card just to get it to work...I didn't like it
but that was the only way I could play LOL3 with 3D effects.

Hello!
I just bought LOL3 and have had some trouble with it, but I managed to
fix it. However in my struggle to do it I noticed quite a few with the
same problem so instead of posting it to the messageboard I'm mailing
you with my experience.
My setup is as follows...
Creative TNT (running Hercules detonate drivers)
Creative Live Value
19 inch Nokia
64Meg Ram
C300A running at 504 (watercooled)
Nec 4x cdrom
Medalist pro 9.1
Windows 95 OSR2.1
So the problem I had was when I tried to go to Direct3d mode, the game
would crash with a segmentation fault in lol3.dat. I tried everything to
remedy this, running normal clock, normal drivers etc but no luck.
I then started stripping the applications I had running in memory, first
the tray. No change but then I did the three finger salute (ctr-alt-del)
and started removing programs I knew wasnt essential and then I lucked
out!
I had a program called hdaemon running (Hercules daemon, monitors
display state etc) and when I rmeoved that the game started running
fine.
So I would suspect that this scenario is true for most people having
this problem with LOL3.
Hope this can help someone.
